Clear Terms.
No Surprises.

Everything international buyers need to understand before a shipment moves—from cost and risk transfer to payment, inspection, and the final document set.

How we trade

Commercial Clarity
Comes First.

Our standard export conversation begins with FOB Port of Douala, with CFR, CIF, and EXW structures considered when they fit the buyer, route, and commodity.

Incoterms® 2020 define where cost and risk transfer. They do not define title, payment timing, governing law, inspection rights, or product acceptance; those points belong in the quotation and sales contract.

Transaction ruleThe issued quotation, contract, specification, and shipment documents govern every order. Website content is a commercial guide, not a binding offer.

Incoterms® 2020

Choose Where Responsibility
Changes Hands.

The named port or place is essential. Each quotation states the selected rule and location so both parties can see exactly what is included.

CFR
Seller-arranged carriage

Cost and Freight

Terra Source arranges and pays main carriage to the named destination port. Risk still transfers when the cargo is loaded at origin.

CIF
Carriage plus insurance

Cost, Insurance and Freight

Similar to CFR, with the seller also arranging the contractually specified minimum marine insurance cover.

EXW
Buyer-managed movement

Ex Works

The buyer takes responsibility from the named origin location, including collection, export handling, main carriage, and destination activity.

Payment alignment

Secure Instruments.
Agreed In Writing.

Availability depends on order value, counterparty review, banking requirements, shipment history, and the commercial program.

Bank transfer against the agreed proforma invoice and payment schedule. Cleared funds are confirmed before the related release milestone.

02

Letter of Credit

03

Documentary Collection

Documents against payment or acceptance may be discussed for established relationships where the program and risk profile support it.

Documents Matched
To The Lot.

The required document set is confirmed before shipment. Destination rules, buyer instructions, commodity, and selected Incoterm determine the final file.
